Prime Minister Kishida announced on September 20th that as of October 11, 2022, tourists from countries where no visa was required for short-term visits prior to the pandemic will return to the same condition. For now, we are assuming that there will be no special requirements other than proof of vaccination (3 injections) to smoothly enter the country.
